I made a booking on www.valloire.com but my online payment was not validated, and I can’t find the apartment I wanted to book anymore. What’s going on?
Don’t worry, even though your payment did not go through, your booking has been recorded and the apartment you wanted has been reserved for you. Our team will get back to you within 48 hours so we can finalise your booking together.
When do I have to pay the balance of my booking?
We require the balance of your stay no later than one month before your arrival.
Once your stay has been paid in full, you will receive your accommodation voucher by email. This document is important as it allows you to collect your keys upon arrival. It contains the contact details of the person or agency who will hand over the keys to your apartment.

What deposit is required for your holiday rental?
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit. The deposit amounts to 25% of the rental amount + a €20 booking fee + the optional cancellation insurance premium purchased at the time of booking. You can pay the deposit by credit card or bank transfer.
Please note that if bookings are made less than one month before departure, the full amount is payable upon booking.

- Instant online payment by credit card (fully secure transaction)
- Payment by bank transfer (please remember to mention your booking reference number)

Going on a last-minute ski vacation or weekend is possible with Valloire Réservations. Our website valloire.com allows you to find the best deals and prices at the last minute. Only one method of payment is available in this case:

Will a security deposit be required upon arrival?
The security deposit amount is specified in the rental agreement. It can be requested upon arrival by check or cash. Unless otherwise stated in the description of the reserved accommodation, the owner may request it before your arrival.
For some accommodations, the deposit can be requested before your arrival electronically by credit card via the secure platform "Swikly": the amount of your deposit will not be debited, it will be secured online by your credit card, without impacting your payment limit

Can we book a short break?
During the ski season, you can book your short break (less than 7 nights and arrival possible any day) no earlier than 1 month before your desired start date. Except for the four-week February French school holidays, for which the booking deadline for a short break is 15 days before your planned start date. We also offer discounts on your all-inclusive weekend or ski getaway packages.

How much is the tourist tax in Valloire for an apartment?
The amount of tourist tax in Valloire varies depending on the accommodation's star rating. Here are the rates (updated January 1, 2025):
- 1* Rating: €0.88 per night per adult (aged 18 and over)
- 2* Rating: €0.99 per night per adult (aged 18 and over)
- 3* Rating: €1.65 per night per adult (aged 18 and over)
- 4* Rating: €2.64 per night per adult (aged 18 and over)
- 5* Rating: €3.41 per night per adult (aged 18 and over)

- From 14 to 8 days before the start of your stay: 50% of the cost of the stay (except tourist residences)
- 7 days or less before the start of your stay: 100% of the cost of the stay (except tourist residences)
To avoid these fees, you can purchase cancellation and interruption insurance (4% of the accommodation cost) at the same time as your reservation. We recommend purchasing this insurance. This optional cancellation insurance must be purchased at the time of booking, before paying the deposit.
